Brown Couch Consulting was launched in July 2008 by Daria Mark, a graduate of Tufts University. Here is what prompted Ms. Mark to start a small business web consulting company:
"I noticed that small business owners don't have time to learn the technology necessary to maintain their website or promote their business through email marketing. Even though there are companies that provide solutions that make it easier, there is still a learning curve. So, I started a small firm that supports small business owners and non profit organizations by providing high quality cost effective web services. We teach our clients as much as possible about their web sites and email marketing so they can be as self sufficient as their time allows. "
